For some time, travel planning was easily facilitated by Google Maps. But then, for some undisclosed (and likely goofy) reason, Google Maps giveth, and then they tooketh away. No more "multiple destinations." It's nice to know the voice of the people can still be heard, because, back again by popular demand, Google Maps has reinstated it's multiple destination feature – and you can use it on your Android or Ipad too!
According to a Google-head spokesmouth, Florian Goerisch, it works like this:
"Whether you're running weekend errands or planning a cross-country tour, you can plot multiple destinations for your trip with ease—now available for driving, walking and biking directions," wrote Goerisch. "Once you've chosen a starting point, click '+' and add stops to your route by typing in the search box or clicking on the map." This same feature can be used to add attractions with a "drop and drag" on the map.
If you've set up your personal Google account, you can save this information, then access it on your Android or i-Device under the 'search history' function of your Google Maps app. Right now the new feature is only in English, but can other languages be far behind?
