To Wait, or not to Wait? There’s an App for That.

We took the grandkids to Orlando this past weekend. They love staying in the RV and we have a membership park (Thousand Trails) just a half hour from Universal Studios. That’s where they really wanted to go! If you’ve never experienced a 3D ride with fire-breathing dragons and wand-wielding wizards, you just haven’t lived! The rides really were quite fun. What isn’t fun is standing in line. So, even before we arrived, I downloaded the Universal Studios App and the companion Wait Times app.

It updates every 5-10 minutes and you can even ask for an alert when the ride you want has a wait time within your standing capabilities! Of course, you can get all sorts of other information about the park, show times, restaurant descriptions, and restroom locations. You can even see which restroom is closest to your current location and get step-by-step directions to get there!

Most all theme parks have apps like this, so even if you’re not visiting Universal Studios, see if there’s an app for you. Just visit your App store, or Play store and search for the name of your theme park.
